ABOUT ABHIJEET NAYAK
I am a highly motivated self driven Individual having a varied engineering experience right from academics to corporate with an interest towards technical product development starting from its design phase to manufacturing and finally while it is in service having a systems level thinking throughout the complete lifecycle. I have a bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT BHU, Varanasi. I was the fourth rank holder in my department. I have masters degree in Materials Engineering from IISc Bangalore. My thesis was on Computational Materials studying coarsening in Multiphase systems.3. I started my professional career in Rolls-Royce by getting into the Engineering Graduate Scheme. I spent 1.5 years completing the graduate program in RR and gained experience in Thermals and Air-systems design, Manufacturing and Methods Development. My final attachment was a design and make one in UK where I had build a product right from its conceptual phase to the final manufactured one. I started my first substantive role in Rolls-Royce within the Product development and technology group supporting design of gas turbine components. I am currently acting as a product system owner in the system design and integration team. Apart from my interests in Product development. I am also actively involved in STEM activities and digital initiatives within my organisation. I too hold a passion for running and count it as one of my favourite hobbies.Cheers!
