As a professional and business leader, I believe that authenticity, integrity and innovation give a person a sense of purpose, coherence and optimism, which enables integrating work and life\'s different dimensions- I started my career as Tax Inspector in 1989 and worked for the Ministry of Finance till November of After the Ministry of Finance, I joined Deloitte Turkey in and worked as tax team leader in Financial Services Industry till 2006. In 2006, I worked as coordinator for the Auditing Group of Koç Holding in charge of tax consultancy for the group companies especially for financial industry- I joined KPMG since February 2007 and I had been Head of Tax in KPMG Turkey since May 2010. I left KPMG as of November 2018- I joined EY Turkey as Tax Partner since January 22, 2019- Since I have specialized in Financial Services Industry. I have got deep tax technical expertise in related tax areas of Financial Services including Transfer Pricing and Tax Dispute Resolution. I have also got extensive knowledge about the taxation of capital gains from money and capital markets- I demonstrate an understanding of accounting and legal issues and the business and economic environment that impact tax transactions. I seek ways to apply knowledge and creatively interpret tax laws and regulations- I advised MNEs for either inbound or outbound investments- I am also co-author of the Book “Management Accounting” published by the Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants of Turkey- My several articles, related to taxation of financial instruments, management practices and accounting have been published in various local and international magazines / publications- I am a member of Istanbul Chamber of Sworn Tax Advisors- I am a member of International Fiscal Association (IFA) Turkey- I am a qualified independent auditor certified by Turkish Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority.
