ABOUT ABDULAZIZ DAYEL ALDAYEL

I am a highly motivated researcher/entrepreneur with a strong background in pharmaceutical formulation design and product development including nanoparticle-delivery systems, vaccine development, AI-Bioinformatics to treat cancer, arthritis, and rare genetic diseases by utilizing nanomedicines and biologics (i.e: siRNA, CRISPR, and mAb therapies). Over the past 15 years, I gained laboratory experience utilizing some state of art machines, animal models and clinical samples. I have also worked with/advised companies in the biotech/pharma industry. I have several publications/ abstracts in respected journals/ meetings in the field, wherein some of these publications have won prestigious awards. In addition, my work has been extensively cited by others with more than 500+ citations. I am also a reviewer of well respected journals. I am a co-inventor of several patents and I received more than 5 millions in research grants and international awards. Technical Experience• Pharmaceutical Formulation development and characterization-Polymeric nanoparticles,Lipid-based nanoparticles (LNPs)• Chemical synthesis- Pro-drug development, Polymer conjugation• Cell culture and biological assay- Cell culturing, cytoxicity, cell uptake studies.• Characterization- stability studies, DLS, Lyophilization, release, Ultrafilitration, HPLC analysis, Ultracentrifugation.• Experimental animals: Extensive experience in handling several strains of mice, human and murine tumor implantation in mice.Management, consultation and administrative skills:Other experience related assets include business administrative skills, excellent presentation skills and good communication skills. Ability to consult, lead and manage teams, and work remotely.Clinical research:In my role as a lead researcher, I collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of medical specialists and physicians to advance our understanding of diseases and potential new treatments. This includes oncologists, radiation therapists, hematologists, rheumatologists, infectious disease experts, rare diseases physicians, surgeons, etc. Together, we conduct rigorous clinical trials and analyses to develop and test innovative therapies and vaccines. It is deeply rewarding to work alongside these experts from various fields, combining our knowledge and skills in the shared mission of improving patient outcomes through groundbreaking research. Though the road from initial hypothesis to approved therapy is long, it is driven by our collective passion for pushing the boundaries of modern medicine.
