ABOUT ABBIE CATE POUPORE
I’m a Communications student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, minoring in Small Business & and Social Entrepreneurship, as well as Whole Health & Wellness. I’m passionate about promoting healthier communities and aspire to build a career in the health field, where I can support and empower others through education, advocacy, and communication. Throughout my time at UNCW, I’ve been deeply involved on campus and committed to service. I’ve participated in multiple volunteer initiatives and held various leadership roles within my sorority Alpha Phi, where I currently serve as Executive Administrator and Assistant Director of Formal Recruitment. I also hold a position in Order of Omega as Vice President. These experiences have strengthened my organizational skills, teamwork, and ability to lead with empathy. I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact, especially in wellness, health communication, and community engagement.
