ABOUT AMANDA JACOBS

I’m a mission-driven education strategist and systems leader passionate about helping organizations design learning ecosystems that deliver lasting equity and measurable results.Across more than 15 years — from classroom and principal leadership to national strategy roles — I’ve built programs that scale literacy, strengthen early learning, and connect research to practice. My work integrates the science of reading, implementation design, and partnership strategy to transform outcomes for educators, students, and families. As Director of Academic Planning & Solutions at Scholastic, I lead multi-state initiatives that align curriculum, professional learning, and family engagement with district and state goals. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape adoption frameworks, support executive presentations, and design scalable professional learning that accelerates both impact and revenue growth.Previously, as Vice President for District Partnerships, I worked alongside research pioneers such as Dr. Carol Connor to operationalize evidence-based literacy models in large public systems.Currently completing my doctorate in Organizational Leadership, I focus on systems change — how strong leadership cultures and data-informed design can close opportunity gaps at scale.I’m energized by roles and collaborations that bridge innovation and equity, advance organizational strategy, and move the needle for children and communities nationwide.
