Passionate about taking things beyond the lab, he has been involved in the sketch to the production of new (wearables + machine intelligence) products, deployed them into the real world with strategic partnerships and commercialization and IP licensing. He co-led the activities at MIT Media Lab India Initiative 20••••15. Before MIT, he built a wearable insole haptic I/O platform for assistive navigation, gait analysis and rehab, ran pilots at LV Prasad Eye Institute Hyd, spun off as a venture, and featured as MIT Technology Review TR35 Innovators list. As a researcher, he has authored research papers and posters at UIST, CHI and ICMI. Tangible forms of his work have been used by industries and product, patented, referenced by peers and released on the market in products currently used by consumers.
