About David Zuniga

Steering Axiom Space\'s in-space solutions team, my role as Senior Director encompassed developing new markets, products, and crafting strategic roadmaps for sustained growth and pioneering the development of research and technology platforms in low earth orbit. My leadership in establishing Axiom\'s position as the vanguard in direct access to Low Earth Orbit is underscored by a dedication to expanding human potential and fostering innovation beyond our planet.Previously, as the Lunar Deep Space Gateway Life Support System Manager, Orion Life Support System Manager, and Crew Exploration Vehicle System Manager with the Constellation program, my technical acumen and collaborative efforts were pivotal in designing and integrating life support systems for lunar missions, and future missions beyond lunar surfaces. Additionally, my roles with the International Space Station National Lab (ISS NL), and as General Manager for the Danish Aerospace company equipped me with the knowledge and insight to build economic, and business models, and transactions that spanned across both orbital and terrestrial landscapes. These contributions are a testament to my commitment to advancing space exploration infrastructure and the LEO economy, ensuring that future platforms support strategic objectives and enable groundbreaking scientific endeavors.

   Blue Origin

   Vision: Blue Origin was founded with a vision of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. Blue Origin envisions a time when people can tap into the limitless resources of space and enable the movement of damaging industries into space to preserve Earth, humanity’s blue origin.Mission: Blue Origin is working today to create that future by developing reusable launch vehicles and in-space systems that are safe, low cost, and serve the needs of all civil, commercial, and defense customers. Blue Origin’s efforts include flying astronauts to space on New Shepard, producing reusable liquid rocket engines, developing an orbital launch vehicle with New Glenn, building next-generation space habitats, and returning to the surface of the Moon. These endeavors will add new chapters to the history of spaceflight and move all of humanity closer to that founding vision.My role is to develop a robust business environment to ensure future generations can live and work off the planet through civil space programs.
