Involved in product development activities such as Concept stage, Product Planning, Design Verification, Process Verification and Mass Production. Coordination with various cross functional teams such as Production, Marketing, Product Planning, Quality for Smooth Product development process. Concept Development. Design validation through prototyping (FDM, SLA), customer surveys & as per regulatory Requirements. Development of Fan blades, Canopy, Top & Bottom Cover (Casting) & BLDC /Induction motor. CAD designing (Structure) on Creo 8.0, Software & Data Management (PLM). BOM Management in ERP. Validation Testing & BEE Certification of Ceiling Fans as per IS 374:2019. Product Development Management as per NPI / NPD Process / Project Management Coordinating with SCM (sourcing and operation), Factory, QA and Marketing for Fan NPDs. Review manufacturability and assembly at design level (DFx)-Design Review Review of molds, jigs, fixture and tooling for the products for development New concept designs for ceiling fan. Product Benchmarking, teardown, detailed structural analysis. USP Development. Market research to check recent trends in technology. Interaction with vendors related to development.
