About Abdullah Zubair Mohd

I build software that actually changes how a business runs. Not prototypes, not demos. Production systems that people rely on every day.My background sits at the intersection of software engineering and real business operations. I have worked inside live distribution and logistics environments, learned how inventory moves, how procurement works, how vendors get paid, and how data flows through an ERP system. Then I built the software that made all of it run better. That foundation translates across industries because the core problems are the same whether you are running a distribution warehouse, a hospital supply room, a retail fulfillment center, a pharmaceutical operation, or a manufacturing plant. At Tartan Supply, the business was running inventory updates, vendor cost changes, and ACH payments completely by hand. Staff were spending over 10 hours a week just on data entry, and errors were a regular part of the process. I came in, understood how the supply chain actually worked, and built a full internal web application that automated all of it. Now the same work takes under 30 minutes. The errors are gone.I also built NexFlow from the ground up. It is a full data engineering pipeline that streams plus supply chain orders in real time through Kafka, runs them through a Python ETL layer that catches bad data automatically, stores everything in an AWS S3 data lake using Medallion Architecture, transforms it through dbt into a Snowflake data warehouse, runs three machine learning models on top of it, deploys across Kubernetes, and orchestrates the whole thing with Airflow every morning at 6 AM without anyone touching it. That pipeline surfaced over in inventory savings.I work across the full stack. Frontend in React and Angular. Backend in Node.js, Java Spring Boot, and.NET. Databases in SQL Server with stored procedures, staging tables, and ETL pipelines. Data engineering with Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark, and AWS. DevOps with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions. What makes me different from most developers is that I understand the business context behind the code. I know what a purchase order is, how reorder points work, what breaks when vendor costs update incorrectly, and what it costs a business when inventory data is wrong. Whether that business is a distributor, a hospital, a retailer, a manufacturer, a pharmaceutical company, or a government agency, the operational problems I solve are the same.

Tartan Supply runs distribution and supply chain operations through the STEP1 ERP system. Core business workflows were completely manual when I came in. I built a centralized full stack internal web application that automated all of it.What I built and delivered:Designed the full SQL Server database architecture using stored procedures, staging tables, and an ETL pipeline to validate and transform data before it ever touches productionBuilt a bulk inventory upload system that validates every field, catches duplicates, auto calculates prices across 7 pricing tiers, and processes everything through the ETL layerBuilt a vendor cost update workflow with two step confirmation that safely updates POCost and StandardCost through the same ETL pipelineBuilt an ACH payment module that manages vendor bank records, generates NACHA files for direct bank submission, and auto emails remittance advice to vendors by check dateBuilt a role based admin dashboard secured with JWT authentication, bcrypt password hashing, and RBAC so managers control exactly who accesses whatDeployed the full platform to a Windows production server using IIS and NSSM for high availabilityStack: React.js, Node.js, Express.js, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Staging Tables, ETL, JWT, IIS, NSSMResult: Manual data entry dropped from 10 plus hours a week to under 30 minutes, a 95% reduction. Pricing errors and duplicate records eliminated completely.
