I serve as a remediation manager for Nokia, primarily focusing on multi-PRP superfund sites across the United States. I provide technical review of remedial options from environmental experts and consultants in support of Nokia’s internal and external counsel. I assist our legal teams and consultants with strategies of how to progress from assessment to remediation to closure of our legacy environmental remediation portfolio sites. Sites fall under state and federal jurisdiction, and my goal is to work with multiple stakeholders to determine the most effective and efficient path to achieve site remediation goals. My additional responsibilities include managing the environmental reserves for my portfolio of sites, providing quarterly updates to corporate, legal, and finance, and approval and payment of legal assessments and environmental vendor invoices.
