Building an Aeroderivative Turbine Generator for Dominion Energy in Goose Creek, SC. I am involved in nearly all aspects of the project. I clarify/find technical information for Foundations, Pipe, and Structural Steel; gather quotes and work with vendors for procurement, generate/maintain a quality system for tracking quality sign-offs, assist safety with reports, as well as work with project controls to assess costs, budgets, and tracking progress. I have learned and am still learning about Civil, Structural, and Mechanical through working out issues that come up in the field. Serving as a bridge between engineering and the construction side of an industrial construction project while learning about the management side as well is about the best I can sum up what I am doing.
