Within Global Patient Safety and International Patient Safety, I lead pharmacovigilance (PV) operations for the IFI cluster (Italy, France, Iberia), holding statutory responsibility as Safety Contact Person (SCP/RPV) “personne de référence en matière de pharmacovigilance”) for France. Strategic project leadership – Drive cross border, high impact patient safety initiatives in partnership with Global Patient Safety, Global Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, senior leadership teams. Interface & stakeholder engagement – Act as the bridge between global functions and local safety operations, regulatory teams, commercial leadership, market access, medical information, and health authorities (ANSM, Spain, Italy), ensuring effective communication and harmonised processes. Regulatory compliance & quality systems – Ensure adherence to French, Italian, and Spanish GVP, local legislation, SOPs, and LEO’s Quality Management System; maintain inspection readiness and foster continuous improvement. Team leadership & capability building – Manage and develop a multi country team of five safety professionals (SCPs, deputy SCPs, and PV officers), promoting expertise, collaboration, and high performance. Business continuity & partner oversight – Maintain disaster recovery plans, monitor KPIs, and oversee PV partnerships with strong governance to ensure operational resilience and compliance.This role combines strategic project management, multi stakeholder coordination, and regulatory accountability, aligning global objectives with local execution to safeguard patients and uphold safety standards.
