ABOUT ZOHEB MAHMUD KHAN

I am a highly motivated, experienced and skilled professional, looking to make deep impacts in human and environment relations and human - wildlife conflict. Whilst I am a goal oriented person, I also pay good attention to detail and perfection in performing tasks. It is important for me to not only achieve landmarks and meet deadlines, but do so in the best possible way with the most effective outcome. My area of interest is human environment relations, environmental governance and human - wildlife conflict. I consider myself as an intellectual deeply immersed in finding ways to mitigate and adapt to the ever increasing wicked environmental problems we are facing. Whilst I primarily focus on research, I have extensive experience in project coordination, action planning and implementation. I also have 3 years experience in teaching at the university level. I designed and taught courses such as Aquatic science, climate change and air pollution, introduction to environmental science and chemistry. Within some of these courses I had to design and conduct field work for the students, mostly regarding first hand experience of working in the field and basic field skills. I have 2 years experience in working with climate change adapation and gender issues. I worked with organizations such as UNWomen and BRAC to design and conduct research projects and action plans in various climate stricken zones in Bangladesh.
