About Zoe O.
I have a Master of Science in Commerce in the Marketing & Management track from The University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce. I have a Bachelor\'s degree in Foreign Affairs with a minor in Anthropology from The University of Virginia. During my time as a graduate student, I was a teaching and research assistant for marketing and business analytics courses, where I had the opportunity to leverage thought-provoking research for academic projects and case studies.During my time at UVA I exemplified time management by working part-time jobs, learning to balance my academic and professional responsibilities. Through sales roles I have interacted with customers and learned what drives them to make a purchase. I have a unique, first hand perspective on how retail employees and customers respond to business initiatives. As a UVA Catalyst student I worked on developing an online professional portfolio, and have experience with Wordpress and Squarespace. Creating these web pages taught me to understand e-commerce sites and how the consumer journey and experience can be improved. I enjoy evaluating products from conception to market, and brainstorming possibilities for growth. I am passionate about developing solutions and products that create value for people. An example of my problem solving ability is the conceptualization of a startup project that would streamline and simplify the job application process for both applicants and recruiters. It\'s always great to share and consider new ideas with groups of people who are invested in our shared goals.
