ABOUT ZOE HUNT

With over 18 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, I’ve built my career at the intersection of clinical practice, education, and professional advocacy. My journey began as a radiographer, progressed through CT and MRI, and ultimately led me to specialise in ultrasound — with expertise across obstetric, abdominal, gynaecological, early pregnancy, and testicular imaging.Most recently, I served as Senior Lecturer in Medical Ultrasound at Birmingham City University, where I led teaching on core modules, mentored postgraduate students, and helped shape future sonographers. Teaching, mentoring, and being part of an award-winning team (SoR Midlands Team of the Year 2023) was a real privilege.Now, as a Clinical Applications Specialist at Philips, I’m excited to combine my clinical and academic background to support healthcare professionals in getting the very best from ultrasound technology — advancing both practice and patient care.I remain actively engaged in the profession through my work with the Midlands Society of Radiographers executive panel and continue to champion collaboration, education, and innovation across the imaging community.
