WORK HISTORY
Legal Research Intern @National Center On Elder Abuse
Los Angeles, CA, US
Work under the Elder Abuse Guide for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) team, a DOJ-funded project. • Research and update state and federal elder justice laws to prepare law enforcement training.• Collaborate with the Keck School of Medicine of USC on elder justice initiatives.Witnessing older adults’ struggles across different cultures has been profoundly moving, revealing how easily this population’s needs can be overlooked amid rapid social and economic changes. Seeing elders in various parts of the world face isolation, neglect, or insufficient care sparked my heartbreak and determination. These experiences fueled my resolve to advocate for stronger legal protections, more comprehensive resources, and a deeper societal understanding of elder vulnerability.
