As a Philanthropy Officer at MK Community Foundation, I have the privilege of working closely with donors to help them realise their philanthropic ambitions while supporting the foundation’s broader mission to drive positive change across Milton Keynes.My role centres on managing our Small Grants Programme, which includes proactive outreach to identify and generate impactful community projects. I guide local groups through the pre-application process, ensuring they are supported every step of the way. Using platforms such as Salesforce and other CRM systems, I oversee the end-to-end application cycle—from submission and analysis to panel presentation and scoring.Once projects are approved, I work in partnership with the finance team to ensure accurate fund allocation, aligning the right resources with the right initiatives. I also support monitoring and evaluation by attending funded projects, reviewing monitoring reports, and ensuring financial tracking aligns with initial budgets.In addition to grants management, I have introduced innovative solutions to enhance stakeholder engagement. Notably, I led the implementation of an AI-based solution that revitalised our Honorary Structure engagement, resulting in a 70% increase in Vice-President attendance at events.

Role-Philanthropy Officer Achievements-Vice-Chairman for Loughborough University Boxing Club -British University and Colleges Gold Medalist and International Champion -High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire Award for Great and Valuable Community Services Impact: I am currently serving as the Philanthropy Officer at the Milton Keynes Community Foundation. My role includes managing donor relations, developing and executing fundraising campaigns, and fostering community partnerships that support creating positive change in Milton Keynes. I am responsible for the bi-annual Match Fund project, ensuring that the fund is allocated fairly and equitably. I have led a project to measurably increase the parity of the fund,(35% average increase for funds matched) the turnaround time of the match, and increased participation and recognition by creating and implementing an impact reporting mechanism. I have facilitated the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire symposium on Crime Prevention and School Inclusion. Being an integral part of the planning group and aligning the strategic goals of the High Sheriff with the needs of and expertise in the VCSE sector, working in partnership with the MK City Council, Buckinghamshire council, and TVP. While led to a creation of the symposium attended by stakeholders and respective experts from the different sectors. I am also a founding member of the Youth Inclusion and Crime Prevention collaborative that formed on the back of the symposium.
