About Zimu Gong
I am a first-year Computer Science and Engineering master\'s student at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I earned my B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I am currently a research intern at Waabi with the A&A behaviors team. I am also the first intern at Lightwheel, a start-up company committed to creating sustainable and high-quality 3D data fuel for AI to enter the physical world. I am interested in VLA models, flow models, reinforcement learning and simulation in autonomous driving and robotics. I have hands-on experience in building data pipeline, designing and training machine learning models, and evaluating model performance with closed-loop simulation environments.
