Ziad Rizk has more than 13 years of Construction Management experience as a Project Designer, Project Engineer, Deputy Project Manager / Resident Engineer and Inspector in the construction of Caltrans and public works projects including new and rehabilitation construction projects such as freeways, highways and bridges. His experience includes Retaining Walls, Bridge Construction Experience, Box Culverts, CIDH Piles, Shoring and Excavations, Precast Pre-stressed girders, and Cast In Place Post Tension Concrete Box Girders.As a Resident Engineer, he was responsible for construction management, contract administration, submittal review, RFI review, coordinating & scheduling with local agencies, public awareness, contractor scheduling and documentation, safety reviews and field safety inspections. His experience include also but not limited to administering and inspecting concrete paving, asphalt paving, drainage, retaining walls, landscape and irrigation, traffic control system enforcement, traffic signals, shoring, mass grading, roadway excavation, CCO preparation, quantity estimate calculations, electrical systems, utility relocations and implementing & Safety measures and reviewing and analyzing CPM schedules. Mr. Rizk is very knowledgeable and experienced in equipment used in inspection, surveying, construction office engineering work, computers, computer applications and computer software programs. Mr. Rizk is experienced with BART Safety Manual, Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Green book), and Standard Plans for Public Works Construction, Cal / OSHA Construction Safety Orders, Caltrans Standard Specifications, Standard Plans and Special Provisions. He has extensive experience interpreting plans, specifications, special provisions and other contract documents, identifying potential problems and proposes effective solutions. He has demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement in all of his past commitments.
