About Zia Marshall

I hold a doctorate in English Literature and worked as a Learning Designer and Communication Specialist. I am skilled at aligning learning programs with corporate goals and strategies. I published a course on Time Management for Productivity and Work-Life Balance on Udemy, which has garnered a user base of students. After years of designing e-learning content for personal and professional growth, I shifted my focus to creative writing. My debut poetry collection, From Breaking to Blooming (2023), explores themes of vulnerability and resilience. My second poetry collection, Petals in the Breeze will be released in 2024. My work, inspired by both nature and human nature, captures the light and darkness of life with honesty and grace. Awarded a Certificate of Excellence in the Asian Literary Society’s Wordsmith Award (2020) and 8th place in the Rabindranath Tagore Award International (2024), my short stories and poems have found homes in several literary journals and anthologies including Contemporary Literary Review of India, Adelaide Literary Magazine, Auroras and Blossoms, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, and Scarlet Leaf Press. I am a regular contributor to Metverse Muse.
