About Zi-Hao Zhang

I am a Master\'s student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. In the past year, I had been doing research as a research assistant in the laboratory of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. My research is mainly focused on Pose Estimation, with the application of IMU implemented on the robot arm. I integrate the filtered IMU with the voice coil motor, to do the feedback control on the contact force between the target and the polishing machine. I use the p value and R-square from the aliment result of actual and ground truth data to evaluate the linearity of the data collected from IMU, making sure of the feasibility of the implementation of IMU on a metal polishing system. I published and presented my research at My previous work also focused on path planning for AMR, implementing A* path finding algorithm on AMR to navigate on the global map with limited information of other AMRs. The AMR recalculates the optimal path regarding the location information of other agents based on an event-trigger mechanism from the central server.
