About Zhuoqi Huang

I am a master\'s student in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a bachelor\'s degree in computer software engineering from Central South University. I am currently a LFX Mentorship Mentee at The Linux Foundation, where I am learning and contributing to a Cloud Native Computing project called Volcano. Previously, I was a software engineer intern at Circle, a global fintech company that enables digital currency payments and transactions. There, I integrated OpenAPI specifications into the development workflow, developed a GitHub Action for the CI pipeline, collaborated with the product manager and front-end team to implement REST API endpoints, and implemented robust exception handling using AWS SNS. I also designed and implemented an Android application using Flutter and Pytorch to record and analyze a user\'s cough, breath, and speech, and predict their likelihood of contracting covid-19, as a software developer and research intern at Duke University. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and create positive social impact.
