I am currently a PhD candidate in Biostatistics at CWRU. My dissertation works focus on the adaptive clinical trial randomization design and the application of the joint model of longitudinal and time-to-event data in sequential multiple assignment randomized clinical trial(SMART). Meanwhile, I\'m a researcher at Cleveland Clinic working on observational and trial studies focusing on infectious disease and antibiotic usage
Experience
Visiting Researcher
Jun 2023 — Present · Cleveland, OH, US
Independently designed and implemented observational study protocols, including study objectives and rationale, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and statistical analysis plans. Collaborated with clinicians to work on clinical trial design, such as endpoint determination, trial timeline, power analysis, and randomization procedures• Managed nation-wise datasets including NHANES and NIS, and incorporated sampling weights to obtain nationally representative estimates of the U.S. population• Implemented statistical models, such as generalized linear model, logistic regression, and Joinpoint regression, to identify prevalence, trends and risk factors of hepatic diseases and corresponding healthcare outcomes (mortality, LOS, in-hospital cost); linear mixed model to determine the significant main and interaction effect of treatments on the duration of extended-spectrum antibiotics therapy in a 2x2 factorial cluster-randomized controlled trial• Created consort diagrams, complied statistical tables, implemented data visualizations, wrote comprehensive statistical report, communicated efficiently with principal investigators to draft and revise the manuscripts for publications and presentations
