Chartered Engineer and Certified Pavement Engineer with 16 years experience in civil engineering, of which 8 years specialised in pavement design and analysis and 8 years in major civil engineering projects (Datong-Xi\'an High Speed Railway and Hong Kong Zhuahi Macao Bridge).Involved in a few expert witness cases where the pavement (concrete or asphalt) did not work as intended.Expert level knowledge with DMRB, MCHW and relevant British Standards,AASHTO 93 pavement and concrete pavement design.In-depth understanding of the theories behind concrete pavement design, such as the Westergaard, Burmister and Boussinesq\'s equations.Extensive experience in pavement design, evaluation and survey.
