ABOUT ZHE CHEN
I am a highly motivated physician-scientist with systematic and rigorous training in biomedical research (Ph.D. in leukemia biology; PostDoc in metabolic/inflammatory target discovery) and general clinical medicine (MD).I built my scientific expertise with extensive experimental skills and strong troubleshooting skills. I hold scientific rigor and acumen for pre-clinical R&D in the industry (target ID/validation, MoA, pharmacology). I initiated and led the forward genetics screening projects with top-notched scientists in academia (Nobel Laureate Bruce Beutler\'s lab). Prior to founding ENU Medicines, I held progressive leadership roles in pharma and biotech, advancing multiple therapeutic programs from target discovery toward clinical development. At ENU Medicines, we integrates forward genetics, mechanistic biology, and medicinal chemistry to build first-in-class, disease-modifying therapies, initially focused on food allergy and IgE-mediated diseases.
