ABOUT ZHAUNI WALKER

I am a Psychology graduate, devoted and committed to developing personal and professional skills while making a difference in children\'s lives. In my current role, I communicate regularly with young adults to ensure they feel supported and motivated throughout their roles so they can provide the best version of themselves when supporting students. In addition, I provide private 1:1 tutoring sessions for KS1-KS3 pupils. My experiences have allowed me to develop a practical understanding of how ASD, ADHD, and Dyslexia (along with other learning disorders) may affect and contribute to pupils learning or ability to comprehend instructions. With a passion for youth work, educational psychology, and charity/volunteer work, I aim to continue building upon my practical experience by increasing my experience in psychology, education and coaching/mentoring. As an aspiring Educational Psychologist, I am focused on learning how to implement psychological interventions and concepts which best improve learning, retention, and progress. As a versatile and dynamic individual with a \"can-do\" and action-orientated mindset, I aim to encourage educational and personal development in young people in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. I wholeheartedly believe that the workplace should be a place that promotes and fosters well-being, diversity and collaboration. I am eager to learn and adapt to different environments to develop my skill set further.
