The Philanthropists Circle of China (PCC) was established in September 2018 and is a joint initiative of more than 36 leading business figures in the field of philanthropy. I initiated the idea and led the 4-year preparation work for setting up PCC (20••••18).The PCC is a professional platform led by Chinese philanthropists to meet, learn and share best practices with their peers.The PCC aims to develop an enabling environment for all current and future philanthropists. PCC builds a common vision and collective actions for Chinese Philanthropy. PCC advocates policies, develops ecosystems, and builds capacity. Jack Ma and Pony Ma both served as co-Honorary Chair, and Guojun Shen served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
