About Zhanhong Jiang

I am a scientist affiliated with Translational AI Center at Iowa State University. Prior to that, I was a senior AI scientist affiliated with the group of Data Sciences & Product Development, Building Technologies & Solutions at Johnson Controls. I received my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University where I taught and did research since 2014. My research interests lie in distributed deep learning, machine learning, distributed optimization algorithms, data analytics, time-series inference, cyber-physical systems. Currently I am focusing on theoretical and empirical development for AI core and Autonomy. I love to apply mathematical knowledge and relevant approaches to solve practical science and engineering problems.
