Responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, timeliness and validity of all accounting transactions for all domestic and foreign entities are recorded and reported to US Corporate in accordance with Global FP & A· Prepare detailed monthly financial statements package and present business review to management· Provide monthly and quarterly business performance review with regional leadership team and commercial teams.· Drive annual budget and quarterly forecasts preparation in conjunction with company management· Provide leadership, guidance and financial advice to business unit management teams on existing business, forecast and budget and monthly operating results regarding financial, operating and system issues.· Perform research and analysis to provide management with both financial and non-financial data and recommendations for use in setting and realizing profit objectives and to determine present and future financial performance. Provide support to the regional business to drive short-term financial delivery and long-term value creation. · Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.· Provide various ad hoc analyses with the ability to influence senior leadership team and analyze scenarios with a solution-orientated mindset, as they arise.· Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP· Ascertain compliance with local, state, and federal government laws and reporting requirements and tax filings· Support month-end, year-end close process and annual external audit· Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting· Research technical accounting issues for compliance· Implement, document and maintain adequate auditing and effective internal controls· Manage and train a team of accounting staff
