ABOUT ZEYNEP GÜL

I am a software engineer with ~4 years of professional experience in software development and testing. I began my career as a Software Test Engineer at Siemens Turkey in 2018, where I worked 3 years as a Software Engineer in Test. I then transitioned into a Software Engineer role in the same company. Then I had a career break because of personal/family reasons, now I am ready to back to work and continue my career journey from where I left. During my career, I have gained hands-on experience with C++, Python, C#, and Bash, and I am comfortable working with Git, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. I also have experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, as well as monitoring tools like Grafana. I am well-versed in Agile methodologies. After relocating to Berlin, Germany in 2022, I took a career break to focus on family responsibilities. During this time, I dedicated myself to upskilling in backend engineering, deepening my knowledge of modern tools and technologies. Now, I am excited to relaunch my career and bring my technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to a dynamic team in Germany. I am fluent in English and German (both professionally) and am open to work in Germany. I am particularly interested in roles that leverage my experience in software engineering, backend development, and testing, as well as my ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
