About Zeynep Ozcan

Aspiring political consultant passionate about bridging East and West through inclusive policy strategy, cross-cultural collaboration, and research-driven advocacy.Currently preparing to study International Relations and Economics at Lewis & Clark College as a Davis Scholar, I bring a globally informed perspective shaped by living in Türkiye, Canada, and Singapore. From raising over for earthquake relief to earning top scholarships and conducting gender policy research, I approach every opportunity with purpose, empathy, and bold action.As a Baret Scholar, I’ve worked on issues including crisis equity, political oppression, and community organizing across five continents, 14 countries, and 20 cities. I also serve as a mentor for UWC Türkiye, helping students access transformative educational opportunities.With interests ranging from public policy and Spanish to Chinese, as well as mathematics and environmental conservation, I’m committed to making systems fairer, smarter, and more human through connection, curiosity, and action.

   As a Baret Alumni Ambassador, I serve as a bridge between prospective students and the Baret Scholars Program — expanding its reach through targeted outreach, digital content creation, and school engagement.
