With a first name (pronounced ZEE-yad) that literally means abundant growth in Arabic, I guess you can say I was destined to love entrepreneurship!My focus is on starting and investing in mission-driven companies and startups where I can meaningfully make an impact and help entrepreneurial leaders organize initiatives that trigger significant growth, profits and social good.I spent the early part of my career working with individuals and couples as an interventionist and relationship coach helping them navigate through conflict and existential challenges to relational and personal wellbeing, harmony and growth. The interpersonal and problem-solving skills I developed were invaluable, but I yearned for so much more, which is what ignited my entrepreneurial journey. From there, I\'ve been fortunate over the past 10 years to start and grow multiple companies successfully serving tens of thousands of customers across the globe with products and services in the tele-mental health, e-learning, and software verticals.Being in the trenches as an entrepreneur I\'ve seen highs and many lows, have served in a diverse set of roles, and have come to recognize the predictable drivers for growth and success in a venture.Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my wife and four kids on various trails throughout Orange County, CA. I volunteer and serve on a board of several local non-profits focused on youth and education. I love swimming, experimenting in the kitchen and coffee.
