Sr. PCB Designer, Cadence Allegro**Experienced in the design of high-density, high-speed, multi-layer complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) ranging from 12 to 60 layers and accommodating to pads. My work includes various products such as motherboards, backplanes, PCIe cards, power boards, commercial products, and handheld devices with RF components. Many of these designs required extensive collaboration with mechanical enclosure teams.Typical projects involve- Placement and routing of back-to-back components with large BGA pin counts, utilizing blind and buried vias and laser vias- Placement and routing for large connector pin counts and fine-pitch connectors- Both manual and automatic routing techniques- Controlled impedance routing across various technologies, including RF, analog, digital, and high-speed interfaces. This encompasses wireless/cellular designs, PCI Express, SCSI, ATCA, I/O routing, ECL, video interfaces, memory routing, and power supply design for high-voltage applications. I possess extensive knowledge in constraint management, including differential pairs, I2C match lengths, and clock signal integrity. I have experience with backplanes and mother/daughter board designs, as well as memory routing.Key skills include- Reviewing bills of materials to identify necessary footprints- Supporting schematic symbol and PCB footprint libraries using Capture CIS- Uploading and debugging schematic captures into the Allegro platform- Utilizing Capture to Allegro cross-probing for placement, with a particular focus on RF components- Implementing constraints in OrCAD Capture- Calculating controlled impedance and building stack-ups using Polar- Producing production files for PCB manufacturing and assembly, including ODB++- Checking for short and disconnected nets in PCBs using Valor Trilogy- Communicating effectively with PCB assembly personnel and providing answers to technical inquiries- Building panels for reflow and wave soldering.**Specialties**: Purchasing, Allegro/OrCAD interface, Production.
