When I joined the newly formed RH Hospitality division it consisted of a single restaurant, but with dreams of changing the world of hospitality through restaurants, hotels, private jets and even luxury yachts. For the next six years, I oversaw the openings of 15 restaurants and our first hotel concept, the RH Guesthouse in New York City, a portfolio now earning approximately $150 million in annual revenue and growing. As the only hospitality technology resource in a kingdom built on luxury furniture and interior design, I was tasked with leading all aspects of the technology used in the hospitality division. By marrying my background in operations with my extensive knowledge of hospitality systems, I was able to carry this load alone as our business grew from an amenity to a contributing division. In 2022, I handed over responsibility of the restaurants to a new support and implementations team so that I could focus on our newest concept. I returned to my true love, opening hotels and resorts, with the launch of the first RH Guesthouse. As RH puts its luxury mark on everything we do, I have had the opportunity to create an IT infrastructure that is world class yet understated. An inter-connected web of the industry leading hotel systems, our guests have everything at their fingertips through a bespoke in-room iPad app controlling everything from the hidden television to the smart climate-controlled bed.
