About Zerina Borhan

Zerina Borhan is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who holds a dual Masters\' degree (MBA and Master of Public Policy) from the University of Maryland. Zerina\'s experience spans a diversity of sectors in several different countries, including Thailand, Barbados, India, China and Sri Lanka. While in the joint program, Zerina specialized in International Development at the Policy school and Consulting at the Business school. Upon graduating in 2015, Zerina joined IBM Global Business Services as a Senior Consultant within the Advanced Analytics practice area. Currently, she is a Managing Consultant who leads the Business Analyst team for a project within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The IBM team at CMS is responsible for buildings models that detect the Fraud, Waste and Abuse in Medicare. Zerina manages the workflow across different functional teams and client reports that go directly to investigators. She is fluent in English, Thai, Uyghur, and Mandarin Chinese.
