Medical Qigong is one of the cornerstones of Chinese medicine for balancing the body from an energy field perspective. It requires cultivating qi (vital energy) and being able to work with the electromagnetic field of the body, strongly effecting both internal and external organ functions. Instead of using needles or massage, medical qigong relies on the ability to direct qi with the mind and hands without physical touch.Medical qigong requires thorough knowledge of Chinese medicine theory in order to be effective. To develop skill with medical qigong, one has to be disciplined with a focused mind of a meditator, have subtle perceptions, and be a skilled medical intuitive in order to make the most accurate diagnosis as well as treatment.Zen specializes in clinical protocols for cancer, chronic diseases, and spiritual/emotional imbalances. She founded Zen Integrative Clinic in 2010 by working with other acupuncturists and health professionals to give patients the best care by integrating our skill sets.
