Creating YouShipWeShip Projects: Develop creative technical challenges that are accessible to everyone but specifically resonate with girls in our community.•Organizing Days of Service: Lead a team of teenage girl coders to run their own hackathon, planning events for 2025, followed by a dinner with professional software engineers.• Conducting Workshops: Support girls in learning to create and teach technical workshops for Day of Service events, fostering leadership development and knowledge sharing. Transform project ideas into workshops integrated into hackathons and clubs.• Leading on Content Creation: Assist girls in creating content such as photography, reels, and short-form content at each Days of Service event.• Being a Role Model: Lead by example as a role model for girls in tech, engaging with them in person and on Slack.• Develop strategies to attract and retain technical talent.• Facilitating Online Virtual Events for Girls: Plan and organize Ask Me Anything sessions or Virtual Meet & Greets/Project Critiques with special guests from the Tech Sector.• Communications: Engage with girls in the community and maintain daily activity on the Days of Service channel.• Develop and distribute Days of Service newsletters to past participants, parents, professional women/dinner guests, and Hack Club organizers.• Girls in Tech Summit: Support a team of girls and nonbinary students in organizing the Girls in Tech Summit.
