ABOUT ALAIN ZEMKOHO

I am a full professor of mathematical optimization at the school of mathematical sciences within the university of southampton, where I conduct research in mathematical optimization; in particular, I have worked extensively on two-level optimization problems commonly known as bilevel programming problems. I also work on machine learning modelling, theory, and numerical methods. The courses that I have taught include mathematical programming, operations research, and forecasting. I also supervise PhD, MSc, and BSc students on academic and industrial projects, including with a wide range of organizations in areas such as airline, defense, shipping, and medicine.
