ABOUT ZEKE HERTZ
Hello! I\'m Zeke Hertz, a data-driven mind with a passion for public policy. I leverage project management, facilitation, mentorship, mediation, and interdisciplinary experimentation to drive impactful change — focusing on emergent technologies and related individual experience within our progressively data-driven society. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University, with a Bachelors of Science in Statistics and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. I\'m eager to connect with fellow professionals, explore opportunities, and contribute to impactful projects! Experience Snapshot: Data & GIS: Today, I work to help companies best leverage their XM platforms and customer experience data. As a GIS Teaching Assistant at Brown, I guided over 70 students in advanced geographic analysis, as well as helped revitalize and organize digital datasets at the Brown Sciences Library. Financial Insight: As a FDIC Financial Scholar, I balanced multi-thousand-dollar asset portfolios for community banks and served as an essential member of the risk management team, ensuring institutional compliance. Data-driven Public Policy: At Every Vote Counts, I analyzed 30 years of voting laws and conducted regression analyses on 200+ electoral laws\' impact on voter behavior. I further developed educational tools, enhancing civic engagement, and contributed to a comprehensive election law database created by Every Vote Counts. Leadership: As the Chief Copy Editor at Brown Political Review, I effectively managed a team of 30 copy editors and streamlined operations, optimizing time efficiency across publications. Projects & Skills: I have a passion for using my geographic and statistical skills to dive deep into data-driven projects. From analyzing voter surveys to studying the impact of pro-voter policies on youth voter turnout, my work is a testament to my dedication and analytical skills. I\'m particularly proud of research completed in my undergraduate degree, such as a visualization of Brown University\'s Safewalk data and assessing the success of previously-failed political candidates.
