About Zehao Pan
As a PhD in bioengineering with over 10 years of research experience, I am a problem solver who uses systematic modeling approaches to guide studies that generate mechanistic insights for process development and optimization. I use effective communication to cross-functional research teams to ensure alignment on goals, facilitate knowledge sharing, and drive collaborative innovation towards impactful outcomes.I study how biotherapeutic entities in various formulation situations respond to physical phenomena during processing, particularly in interfacial interactions, porous media dynamics, and material transformations. Over the years I have solved bottleneck problems in spray drying of biotheraputics, droplet-based biotechnologies and hydrogel processing, which led to numerous inventions and publications.
