ABOUT ZEE SINGH

Senior leader with expertise in business strategy, planning and programme management with over 11 years\' of experience in payments fintech and financial services. Over 14 years\' experience in UK government strategy, policy development and delivery. Highly accomplished senior leader, directing cross-functional international teams, advising executives/ boards, transforming organisations by bringing people on the change journey. I help our directors and senior managers to develop, deliver and track strategies, leading annual strategic planning cycles, reporting to executive committees and board, engaging and influencing managers in the business and building synergistic relationships with senior external stakeholders. I have consistently delivered monthly management information performance reporting for a £207bn savings and investments business, with £44.9bn revenues in 2021-22 and with over 24m customers. My primary strength is agile learning along with strong stakeholder and relationship management, business negotiation and new product development. I\'m trusted to deliver high quality outputs in fast-paced environments, applying creativity, innovation and thought leadership. I lead on the analysis of emerging finance technologies: artificial intelligence, blockchain including cryptoassets. Achievements: • Delivered eight years of annual business planning cycles and multiple years’ managing balanced scorecard/ KPI measures reporting into standing executive committees and board meetings. • Led diversity and inclusion formative evaluation for new strategy development, recommending new targets. • Delivered compressed working pattern strategy, including annual leave alignment between staff cohorts. • Brexit and subsequent Coronavirus impact analysis and recommendations for NS & I. • With Department for International Trade (DIT), contribution to briefing for deputy prime minister on trade mission, trade secretary for a business conference and inclusion of a line of advice for prime minister’s briefing. • Led executive workshop series for DIT with industry leaders and business engagement with cold chain storage firms for global supply chain challenges around distributing coronavirus vaccines • Formulated DIT business engagement policy for business and government partnering, to develop actions to address supply chain resilience challenges via a business forum. • Led creation of new Retail Customer Financial Services Forum to bring together government stakeholders providing financial services to public, in order to increase collaboration.
