   Working in Qatar Petroleum District – Fit out project for QATAR PETROLEUM as a part of theElectrical Engineering team preparing drawings for mechanical plant rooms, Public FacilitiesArea, Public Service Area, Auditorium and part of RO plant. Responsible for the preparation of detailed Shop drawing for Electrical services – Lighting,Small Power, Containment, Earthing etc by leading a team of draftsmen. Coordinating with lighting specialists for preparing lighting shop drawing with DALI controlsystem. Calculating voltage drop calculation of the Power cable specified in design drawingsconsidering the actual technical parameters of the procured cables. Calculating the containment sizes to be used at site as per IFC drawingsand providing a better proposal considering commercial and technical aspects. Coordinating with the consultant to resolve the issues in the shop drawings to get itapproved by the consultant and client prior to commencement of work at site. Providing support to the construction team regarding installation of the electrical servicesconsidering existing base build services and the new fit-out design. Solving the conflicts and discrepancies in between different disciplines of Architectural,Mechanical, Civil & Electrical. Conducting the meetings with site Construction Team and Managers to solve technicalIssue’s occurred at site and resolve all design short comings considering approved materialsthat shall be installed at site. Interact with Consultant about work progress and Raising RFI (Request for Information) & Variations if required. Responsible for preparing & reviewing material approval requests (MAR) complying with allthe project specification and international standards. Attending meeting with the suppliers and consultant to close comments on the submitted MAR. Providing technical evaluation for the proposed materials as per specification and givingtechnical clearance before the release of the purchased order.
