About Zuo bin Tang
I began my career in community-based organizations with a singular goal: helping families realize their American Dream. That mission led me into the classroom as a Math and Computer Science teacher, and today, it drives my work as a District Achievement Instructional Specialist. As a first-generation college graduate, I know firsthand that education is the most powerful tool for building generational wealth. This is why I am a fierce advocate for college access and equity in STEAM. We need diverse voices at the table as technology continues to shape our global future. This commitment to equity extends to my work with AATEND, where I led efforts in affinity space building. By creating intentional communities for AAPI educators, I help foster the support systems necessary for teacher retention and leadership development. Whether I’m collaborating with the NYC Solves central team, launching our inaugural IM Fellowship, or building inclusive professional spaces, my goal remains the same: ensuring every educator and student has the tools to thrive in a rapidly changing world to realize their American Dreams.
