What’s always interested me most is the collaboration behind good work—the people, process, and decisions that make it possible. That perspective shapes how I approach directing and producing, especially in environments where storytelling, technology, and real-world constraints intersect.Growing up, I rented The Lord of the Rings extended editions on VHS—not just to watch the films, but to obsess over the behind-the-scenes extras. What stuck with me wasn’t only the finished movie, but how many disciplines had to work together to make it feel cohesive and human. That curiosity turned into backyard film projects, youth film festivals, and eventually film school (after a short, informative detour through computer science).I eventually found my way to lynda.com, now LinkedIn Learning, where I’ve grown as a video professional working across educational, editorial, and feed-first content. I collaborate with instructors, subject-matter experts, and organizational leaders to help them communicate clearly and confidently on camera. My work often spans creative development through final delivery, including directing, shooting, editing, and platform-specific distribution.Outside of LinkedIn Learning, I’ve worked across commercial, documentary, and short-form projects—from large commercial productions in Los Angeles as part of camera departments to directing and serving as director of photography on smaller commercial work. I’ve collaborated on short films, documentaries, book trailers, and social content for podcasts and independent creators, moving comfortably between large crews and small, self-directed teams.At the core, I care about thoughtful craft, strong collaboration, and building practical workflows that support good work—whether it’s a single piece of content or a system that helps many people do their best work.
