ABOUT ZAYAAN
I\'ve never really been good at sitting still.At 16 I was knocking on strangers\' doors selling home services. Not because I had to but because I wanted to see if I could. That turned into Homzy Services, where I built a network of detailers, cleaners, and tradespeople and started making real money connecting people who needed things done with people who could do them.Last summer I took a door-to-door sales job with TELUS. Within a month I was one of the top reps in Canada. I\'m not saying that to flex… I\'m saying it because it was the most fun I\'ve had in a \"job\" in my life. There\'s something about the raw challenge of walking up to a stranger with nothing but a pitch and your personality that I genuinely love. Most people find that terrifying. I find it exhilarating.Then I got obsessed with content. Started posting as @zaylocksin, kept showing up, kept figuring it out and somewhere along the way it hit 15 million organic views in 6 months. No ads. No budget. Just conviction and consistency.I\'m also a co-op student at UWaterloo studying Accounting & Finance, wrapping up a term at Manulife Wealth doing portfolio management, taxes, and marketing. It sharpened me in ways I didn\'t expect.But if you\'re wondering what my actual superpower is, I\'ll be honest with you. It\'s confidence. Not the arrogant, annoying kind. The kind that lets me cold call a stranger, pitch an idea I just thought of, walk into a room where I know nobody, and somehow leave with a contact, a client, or at minimum a great story. It has truly gotten me further than any skill I\'ve studied in a classroom, so I try to instill this superpower in others every chance I get. I am now constantly seeking for action and to create instead of consume.For the future (Fall 2026) I am looking for a startup where the team is small, the problems are real, and nobody\'s waiting around for permission to try something.
