About Zaya Martin
I am currently a second-year student at Elon University. I received a Presidential Scholarship and a scholarship from the Sports Vision Scholars. I am pursuing a major in Communication Design as well as a minor in Italian Studies. My involvement on campus includes my role as a Creative Member for Live Oak Communications, Elon’s advertising and PR agency that works with clients around Alamance County. Also, I have an on-campus job through the PACE program doing graphic design work for Elon’s Campus Recreation department. I also serve as the Sports Editor for Phi Psi Cli, Elon’s yearbook. Finally, I play on Elon’s club softball team while also serving on the executive board as the Social Media Chair. I am an active participant in these activities while also maintaining President’s List status. Currently, I am on track to graduate in three years. After graduation, I am planning on becoming a physical education teacher and freelance graphic designer. Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, whether I am on a hike, at the beach, or playing sports!
