1. Director of Finance and Operations

   Cascade Bicycle Club

   Sep 2023 — Present

   Lead Fiscal, Operations/Sales, and Procurement teams to design and implement State and Federally funded bicycle transportation programs/projects. • Direct Program Officers with a comprehensive sales strategy and budget to contract with new school districts, community-based bike shops, and youth development organizations to carry out proprietary bicycle education programming through Washington State. • Evaluate new business opportunities based on the relevance and size of project and lead negotiation of any new contract or business partnership that engages with Cascade Bicycle Club. • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for major cycling contracts and annual budgets, including a $216M contract with the Washington Department of Transportation. • Create and maintain dynamic multiyear salary banding, commission programs, and competitive benefit tables for full Cascade and Washington Bikes staff• Establish and maintain all wholesale accounts for bicycle and accessory acquisition to distribution to contracted partners within Washington. • Develop relationships with Community-Based Organizations, School Districts, Logistics Companies, Bike Shops, and Vendors to execute new business initiatives and maintain opportunities that were capitalized on. • Lead team of Program Officers who successfully roll out multiple RFPs for pass-through funding opportunities, procurement proposals, and event opportunities.• Created first of its kind Procurement Department due to new bike education opportunities, kicked off adding a Warehouse internally, all new Wholesale Partnerships, and full cycle supply chain process to purchase, assemble, and deliver over bikes per year across Washington State. • Develop all pricing strategies for new initiatives, service opportunities, Cascade hosted events, and new contracts. • Manage cash-flow related activities and successfully grow annual budget by 7x by diversifying revenue streams.
