Operating within a scaled agile framework, I oversee the strategic development and delivery of Takeda.com and TakedaOncology.com, and our Takeda Experience Platform, a unified digital foundation powering our global digital ecosystem. Our websites are innovative, compliant, and scalable digital environments that are the backbone to the commercial and corporate sales and marketing lifecycle, and serving as vital touchpoints for patients, healthcare professionals, investors and partners, reflecting Takeda’s values of trust, transparency, and innovation, and advancing Takeda’s mission of delivering life-transforming treatments.I lead a technically diverse engineering group consisting of agile, architecture, development, product and QA, to build and operate cloud-based platforms and applications, while driving AI-powered enhancements to collaboration across the organization, including our Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) technical content strategy. I drive adoption of the Toro UI Kit, a proprietary visual design system created by our own XD Labs and built by us, ensuring consistency, accessibility, inclusivity, and brand coherence across all digital properties. I also manage the development of the GenAI Use Case App within Enterprise Architecture, used to capture, review, and govern AI initiatives across Takeda, embedding specialized agentic AI-personas to ensure compliance, transparency, and responsible innovation across Takeda.My leadership philosophy prioritizes serving the needs of our users and the welfare of our highly skilled colleagues.
