Responsible for infrastructure strategy and planning for onprem and azure• Assessing business requirements and develop infrastructure roadmap• Design scalable and flexible infrastructure• Lead cloud and hybrid infrastructure transformation• Technology evaluation and selection via POCs for vendor technology assessment• Infrastructure optimization and performance via capacity planning and cost optimization metrics• Enhancing governance framework and ensuring security compliance in the infrastructure • Ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity practices for zero risk operations• Leading stakeholder communication, timely delivery and participating in project management as needed• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project goal achievement and helping to resolve any blockers• Continuous improvement and innovation using emerging technologies• Follow existing change management processes and lead to modify where required for business needs• Automation and DevOps - utilize iac practices with azure tools (like Terraform, Arm Templates, AKS) to automate the provisioning of resources• Monitoring and optimization – lead setting up and management of tools like azure monitor, azure log analytics, Dynatrace, Solarwinds and application insights to track performance, usage, and health of the azure infrastructure and applications• Advising senior management on infrastructure strategies, risks, and opportunities, helping to guide decision-making and promote best practices
