ABOUT ZARYAB AHMAD

I work at the intersection of data, development, and social impact, with over five years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research across public health, financial inclusion, early childhood education, and community development programs.Currently, I serve as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant with Sesame Workshop, supporting early childhood education and community outreach initiatives. My work involves designing monitoring frameworks, managing quantitative and qualitative data, and translating field insights into practical recommendations that strengthen program delivery, learning, and accountability.Previously, I worked as a Research Consultant with MicroSave Consulting, contributing to large-scale policy evaluation assignments in collaboration with government stakeholders, including projects linked with NITI Aayog and the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO). I supported the evaluation of national financial inclusion schemes aimed at improving economic resilience among underserved populations. I also contributed to a comparative review of public health insurance systems across Sub-Saharan Africa, examining health financing models, service coverage, and digital integration approaches to identify lessons for strengthening social protection systems.Earlier, I worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager with Humana People to People India, where I led monitoring systems for community health, tuberculosis care, and livelihood development programs supported by international donors such as USAID. I also worked with FHI 360 on a global health security initiative implemented in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), supporting outbreak preparedness and response systems across multiple regions. My academic background in Applied Psychology shapes how I approach development work, with a focus on understanding how social, behavioural, and economic factors influence wellbeing and access to services. Over time, my experience has strengthened my interest in evidence-based program design and community-focused interventions. My core strengths include monitoring and evaluation system design, data analysis and visualisation, research and reporting, stakeholder coordination, and capacity building. I have worked closely with government institutions, international donors, grassroots organisations, and multidisciplinary teams across diverse development settings.I am always open to connecting around social impact, development research, and community-focused programs.
